Header looks equally ridiculous on the Play Station 3 browser as it does on Safari and older versions of IE.

Here is the update on IE7: http://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3595
It’s flagged as a major bug in buddypress, and a fix is targeted for the next release of bp (1.6). The comments discuss a workaround which I tried to apply but I don’t think I know enough about css. Feel free to give it a go.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen an IE 7 browser. Some companies still use them but employees know that most leisure websites are not going to work so they install other browsers or just do their personal browsing at home.
In general we should fix it, but I’m not worried about waiting a month or two for the fix.

Fixed and Closing. Used 0.3 patch from the discussion in the link above and this patch will need to be applied with each new BP update until it is properly released (probably 1.6): http://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/3595/3595.03.patch
