Calgary Tennis Ladder

Tennis Ball

The Calgary Tennis Ladder has been operating year round since June 2004. It is a SOCIAL ladder, not a competitive ladder. The purpose of a SOCIAL ladder is to give players opportunities to meet other players and hopefully find players at their level. Players rise to the top of social ladders by being social and by having played matches against three or more players in a 30 day span. The higher a player is ranked, the more social they are considered to be.

Entry Fees

Admission to this leauge is now free. Inactive players are removed from the league one year after reporting their last scores.

Player Reponsibilities

Players are responsible for contacting other players and arranging their own matches. They are responsible for booking their own courts and paying their own court fees. Match winners are also responsible for reporting scores to the online scorekeeping system.

Where to Play Tennis

Matches are usually played at publicly accessible tennis facilities. However, members of private clubs have the option of inviting guests to play at their club. During summer months, most matches are played outdoors. During winter months, most matches are played at Rico’s Tennis Academy.

Contacting Players

Players are asked to complete their profiles immediately upon joining the network. All player profiles should include first and last names, a photo and a primary phone number. To find contact information for other players on the ladder, simply click on their names to open their profiles.

Racquet Network Services

Racquet Network provides technical support and scorekeeping services to this ladder as required. Services in this area are upgraded and enhanced as the number of active players on our ladders increases.
